The basic rules are as follows:

Anytime a player touches or is touched by a ball anywhere on their body, except for the head or the hand holding the Stinger, the player must stop play completely and raise their hand. The referee will award one point to the opposite team and tell the player to ‘play on’.

Anytime a player touches or is touched by a ball anywhere on their body, except for the head or the hand holding the Stinger, and does not stop play acknowledging the contact, the referee will call out the non-acknowledgement ‘NACK’ and award three points to the opposite team.

Anytime a player in possession of a ball takes more than two steps before either dribbling or throwing the ball, the referee will call out the ‘traveling’ and award three points to the opposite team.

The game will last until the arranged time is called. There are no maximum scores, time-outs or substitution slots available. Only injuries, emergencies or repeated rule infractions will cause gameplay to cease.

There are 3 main versions of VX.
